Hoping you are still “still here”…
Just came from working at several firm-sponsored Memorial Day events. My son turned to me at one point and said, I think when I grow up I want to go into the Navy and I know what my email handle should be: GodblessAmerica. I smiled, though I was choked up with pride and gave him a quick hug.
Of course at age 9 that only lasted until he witnessed the NYC official Marine/Navy Tug of war and he watched the Marines wipe the deck with the Sailors in just a few seconds.
Anyway, I have a few more event to help with today and then I have 36 hrs whole hours off. Just wanted you to know that you’re in our thoughts today. Hope you’re getting some fun and R&R wherever you are!
