So many things

To plan, to put in place:
Someone to watch the cabin
Someone to watch the person watching the cabin
Someone to watch over the accounts and make sure the cabin bills are paid
Someone to care for the yard
Someone to take over projects at work
Someone to watch over and care for the weapons
Someone to serve as gatekeeper, central repository for addresses and mailings
A few someones to watch over the blog while away
Someone to represent me at a social function
It all comes down to being able to afford to do all this and I’m not even sure of that, but what the heck. I’ll be the old guy recruit with a massive support staff back in the rear guard.
Less than 2 weeks to shipping.
and a few someones to pray for all to go smoothly and well, so that a certain some one will have nothing to worry about while he’s gone. Any volunteers?
Well, when I get back from Ldacistan I can take care of a lot of those. Unfortunately I’ll be there until August… Train train train, that’s all we do isn’t it? Man, I can’t wait to be back though. I’ve missed it up there.
Wish I lived closer, I could certainly have kept an eye on your cabin while you are gone… *sigh*
That is of course the one thing my son had easy – us here at home taking care of stuff for him.
of course, say the word, and anything that can be done, will.
*hugs*
Once you join and become a part of the big green machine… you’ll find out that it’s a family and we all look out for eachother… next deployment… you’ll have volunteers galore.
Good Luck and Thank you,
Marine wife.. 16 years and counting.
Dude… if not for the circus here, I’d gladly stay at your cabin with your collection of Buffy DVDs…
Oh what I would give right now to be able to watch your cabin for you.
And I’d stand in for you at the social function but your eyes are much bluer than mine.
So I’ll just pray. Let me know if there is anything else I can do. Oh, and can I get your mailing address when you get one? If nothing else, I would love to bounce my thoughts on “Atlas Shrugged” off you (not that you’re going to have time to respond but I can at least write it all down).
Sorry I can’t make the commute to look after your cabin; I’d need a jet. If you can hook me up, I’d be happy to.
Only two weeks? Wah!
If you are still in need, I know a CCPD officer who could help stow the weapons for you. He and his wife are our best pals and they held our “arsenal” whilst the old house was being shown.
I’d also be happy to help as a forwarding station for any mail/msgs. I love mail. Old fashioned, I am.
Just let me know.
I wish I could help with whatever you need. But I’ll be more than happy to do whatever I can from here, just let me know. Blog, mail, whatever.
did you forget one? how about someone to dress up in your camo and think naughty thoughts?
cause i’m in! course, as a friend, i’ll do whatever you ask me to do.
but could you at least send some bon voyage camo shots for those of us left in a RSMless lurch?
I can handle the weapons (as the hubby is unit armorer) or I know a great family (I think you would know them too) with a large gun safe who’ll be glad to take care of them for you. Call me?
Oh yeah, I also volunteer for blog duty, and you know Mom will be more than happy to help watch the cabin, get mail, send Dad to do yardwork… he’s getting bored with retirement.
We’re all going to miss you.
Hey, if I stand in at the social function do I have to get a flat-top?
whatever I can do…
Let me know how I can help. Just don’t ask me to blog on a regular basis.
