Traveltime

So I’m joining the masses on the road headed out again today for the long weekend. I’ve stories from last night’s ballgame with my Viking Medic and my trusty Bulldog, along with a little New York trash talk (it was about to turn embarrassing and I’d have gladly taken my lumps late in the game), but the stories will have to wait.
One way I am honoring our military this Memorial Day weekend is with something that is an honor. Last year about this time I went with one of my closest friends, butterbar, to watch his younger brother (definitely NOT “little” brother) in a lumberjack competition. Butterbar is deployed this year to a particularly hot place some people paying attention to the news might have heard about. I’m headed back up to take pictures, videos, and provide any and all support I can for the younger brother this year.
I’m not much of a substitute for the real big brother, but I’m glad to be along for the ride.
Back in a bit.
Yes, it was embarassing, 2 (dim) wits combined couldn’t keep up with the speed and stealthiness of my trashtalk!
Fortunately, for your Braves, they were able to stand their ground and narrowly thwarted my beloved Mets noble efforts.
Believe me, as they say in NY, it ain’t over until the bodies are buried, and we’ve got 10 more games against you, so we’ll see who laughs the last laugh!
Excellent, RSM.

Not a substitute, ANOTHER big brother. Can’t have too many of those.
Post those pictures here, too, please.
Blessed Memorial Day, all.
Remember.
Oh my goodness…I do love the way Michele speaks words of love about the Mets (who are ahead 4-1 against the Marlins at the moment). It’s so good to know that homegirl’s got my back. Trash talk, buried bodies…..love it, love it, love it. I do see the Mets doing a bit of scalping against Chipper and the boys this year. Giggity.
Hey man, come on to the ‘natti. Ereybody kicks our ass, and we like it that way…
I think.
One more thing… don’t make the big fella wait for “the flash”… he might be impatient, and weilding an ax.
