I had to get out. I made some calls, others made some calls for me. And now here I am, sitting in the second annual Milblogger’s Conference.

I hopped in the car and headed out, 10 hour drive, to the capital.

Talk about a way to refresh the soul and gain perspective.

I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to meet you. I didn’t realize yours was a last minute decision to come. I’m so glad you did.

I’m looking forward to hearing more about where your life is headed. The decisions you’ve made of late are ones that I envy in a way.
