stick one in, I’m done. The week, just one electronic gremlin after another. I was able to do almost none of the administrative work I was hired to do, spending most of my time crawling through ceilings due to my technical skills and patience.
So I headed on home early since I am taking tomorrow [...]

I’m not much of a “reader” as they say. I don’t know where in the hell Sexy Wife, Delicious Mom came up with tagging me with a reading-type meme but so be it. I’ll do my best. I mean, this is only one section of the library at the cabin which in no way indicates [...]

I’m not looking for a love to sweep up and run away with. I’m tired. Looking in my own video window during a chat with a friend in Japan this morning I was faced with the haunting of sunken eyes surrounded by the swollen flesh of sleep incomplete without memory. I’ve seen those signs before. [...]

Alright, people, I don’t even have the appropriate parts for this to be relevant but even I get a burning uncomfortable feeling down there just thinking about this torture.
“Appealing Daintiness”? “No greasy aftereffect”?!?!?!?!!!
Good lord, people. And you thought today’s ads for male dysfunction and herpes creams were bad.
After a day full of electronics gremlins messing up the works, and I don’t mean in any small manner but massive, rip the entire room apart and we might have to place new wiring in the walls kind of ways, I am tired.
I’m not the only one with electronics problems. I have heard about [...]
The conversation came at some point last week, probably over food, but the Wildebeest decided he really wanted to go climbing Saturday and I was to be his partner. “It’s a great workout,” he assured me. Sure. Why not?
I’ve already begun trusting the man and warned him of my fear of heights. He understood.
Expecting [...]

Sunday night and after a long day of clothes folding and other luxuriant activities carried out at a slow pace due to pain from yesterday, more on that later, it was time for a little creativity in the kitchen.
So with dogs walked and fed, hands washed, tonight’s dinner was great:
Lamb chops stuffed with [...]

Laundry
More Laundry
Clothes
White tshirts should be replaced
White socks should be erased
Those stains are not coming out
Even with bleach
Laundry piles
Front loader machine work all day
Need more clothes lines
April fresh in August
Uh Oh! Clouds
Back to the dryer
Clothespin bag breaking
Mud on wood
More Laundry
Too much cloth
SimplifyNot every event needs a souvenier
Why so many t-shirts?
Refuse the free t-shirt next time
Nap coming [...]

A full week. That’s all I can say.
Everything at work went busy and challenging suddenly. I even had to go have a rather stern talking to with a nurse who inappropriately treated one of my employees. I was polite, firm, but set the situation with no room for doubt as to how she would [...]

Gauntlet picked up:
You Are 44% Control Freak
Generally, you are in control but not a control freak. Your life is usually in order.
However, sometimes you get too obsessed with making everything in your life picture perfect.
The fact that you went into the basic HTML code to correct the grammar of this little blog-fodder box is [...]

Another Cayman anecdote, this time about the fine mother:
For a while at her place in the Caymans she decided to do some pest control of her own. She lived on the southeastern end of the island at the time, near the cliffs where water used to crash into the rocks, pressure coursing through age-old tunnels [...]

* Workout: completed a tough one yesterday under severe supervision of the Wildebeest. (It’s the one time I allow him to think he’s the boss.) Feel better. PT Chicks are complimenting on how I look thinner, but “bigger” with much better posture.
* Dogs: Walked, watered, rubbed and now with MUCH better behavior, no sulking [...]

Here’s a little thing for all y’all writers out there, even the commenters who write, just not on a blog site, but especially Tori and Eric since I know they are working on big stuff.
Do you listen to music when you write? Does the music have lyrics?
I can’t shut out external stimuli anymore, [...]

A dirty mist coats the windows in the cabin tonight. It’s a condensation borne of too much humidity, too much heat, but it has a translucency about it, not the transparency that normally comes from fog. It reminds me of the salt spray on the glass doors of all the times I lived on [...]
