Things that make you feel good: learning, creating something wonderful to eat, a good massage by strong hands, helping someone who’s injured, cool breezes on bare skin, a hard workout, surviving, my friends’ children napping on me while their parents and I talk, the teenagers and 20-somethings around here who want me to go hang out with them, my best friend.

Things you don’t like: Lack of civility in my own countrymen, blind arrogance among the highly educated, faith without substance, getting older, traffic, crowds, someone on the other side of the valley deciding to share his music with everyone, communication blackouts (though necessary at times), hypocritical moral judgments against those who are different.

How would you characterize your political leanings: Libertarian Conservative – expect me to defend your right to live your life like a moron as long as you are only hurting yourself; just don’t expect my government to make me pay for it when you overdose, get diseased, or go "special" after riding your motorcycle without a helmet. Can’t afford it? Didn’t plan for it? Family doesn’t care? Ask a charity or too bad. I’ve seen far better people die.

If you could pick one super-human power, what would you choose: Immortality (with perfect health, until I choose to no longer live)

The man at the top of the mountain did not fall there.

The most tender place in my heart is for strangers
I know it’s unkind but my own blood is much too dangerous.

ENTJ – Commandant

You scored 54% I to E, 36% N to S, 66% F to T, and 31% J to P!
The single word to describe your type is fieldmarshal or commandant. You also belong to the larger group called rationals. You love to organize others in matters of logic. Even as a child, you likely naturally assumed the role of leader in groups. You share your personality type with 2% of the population. When you lead, you are more concerned with policy and goals than rules and regulations. You have a tendency to become a workaholic. You are impatient with repetition of error. You are friendly and outgoing, though. You don’t mince words and willingly share your many strong opinions.

Modern, Cool Nerd
86 % Nerd, 65% Geek, 43% Dork

For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.

A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.

A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

You scored better than half in Nerd and Geek, earning you the title of: Modern, Cool Nerd.

Nerds didn’t use to be cool, but in the 90’s that all changed. It used to be that, if you were a computer expert, you had to wear plaid or a pocket protector or suspenders or something that announced to the world that you couldn’t quite fit in. Not anymore. Now, the intelligent and geeky have eked out for themselves a modicum of respect at the very least, and “geek is chic.” The Modern, Cool Nerd is intelligent, knowledgable and always the person to call in a crisis (needing computer advice/an arcane bit of trivia knowledge). They are the one you want as your lifeline in Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (or the one up there, winning the million bucks)!
